With over 30 year’s experience of events, Event Services Guernsey have a massive archive of previous events, and an enormous data base of contractors and specialists who can assist make any event a safe success.
Event Services Guernsey have been main contractors at some of the Channel Islands largest functions, coping with attendances of tens of thousands of people, and involving many thousands of square metres of marquees; power supplies that could run a small village; communications (radio, public address, etc.), themed and specialist decor, and all the ancillary facilities.
Events as diverse as Millennium Celebrations, Floral Guernsey Shows, the Islands Agricultural and Horticultural Shows, Boat and Lifestyle Shows, Commercial Events and Celebrations, Regattas, Culture Shows, Concerts and Broadcasts (we are the Island’s only BBC Approved Event Contractor), Son et Lumiere productions, and for 30 years we have been main contractor to Guernsey’s Liberation Day Celebrations - For the 50th Anniversary of Liberation (1995) we provided over 4km of loudspeakers around the town, supplied and operated facilities to 19 separate events around the Island and broadcast / radio linked the Grand Cavalcade over 5 miles of it’s route – without a single hitch!
Our ‘record year’ was 2002 during which we provided facilities to over 1,400 events that year; but whether it was a School Sports or a Royal occasion, a Society Wedding or Charity Fete, each received careful planning and conscientious attention to detail.
Event Services Guernsey scope of expertise now includes the ability to create Risk Assessment and Method Statements as so often required by H&SE and local authorities at most events.
